Rockin' Pretty

Just a little review of Rockin' Pretty for DS. Started this game since nana-sama recommended it. What do i say about it? I LOVE IT! Google it for the storyline, its pretty simple anyway XP

Main title page. The strum of the electric guitar greets you upon touching the start button. Oh and to left-handers out there, dont worry cz there's an option to switch to left hand gameplay :3

Map of places to go. There's a clothing shop to buy new outfits, instrument shop for instruments (what else) and all the stages to play. A photo studio will be unlocked once you've completed the game.

After selecting a stage, select the instrument you want to play here. You can dress up your band with clothes bought at the shop as well as their instruments. Each instrument has a different style of gameplay. Personally, I like drums best >w< Guitar gameplay. Slide the corresponding diamonds to their coloured boxes. The boxes will come in 2 rows, above and below the diamonds.

Bass gameplay. Touch the coloured boxes at their corresponding diamond space. When a box with a diamond pattern appears, you'll have to slide the diamond.

Keyboard gameplay. As simple as it looks, just touch the keys when the lines fall on them. Slide across the keys for the double or more lines.

Drum gameplay (my fav!). Tap in the rings when the circles are in them. The blue and green circles will flow from left to right, while the red and yellow are from right to left.

It is most fun and challenging in the hard mode. You'll enjoy the songs more as well. Btw, there's an Autoplay option, basically you can watch it play by itself, just to get an idea of how to play it.
Playing on DS wireless communication would be fun since you can play with your frens!! unfortunately i cant.. TwT..

You can easily complete the game within an hour if you stick to one instrument first. I've read somewhere that the game difficulty you play affects your ending. I played hard throughout, so at the end, I won Rockin' Pretty!!! AWESOME! The pic above is at the credits. Its the costume and instrument i chose to wear btw..those who have reached the end, did the band wear the costumes u picked? Anyways, this punk set ROCKS!!!! XD

All in all, Rockin' Pretty is a game i recommend if you like the following :
~Rhythm game (of cz)
~Kawaii, colourful graphics
~Catchy tunes (my fav is stage 2's first song, Heaven)
~A short game to kill an hour or so
~Dressing up, although there isn't much choice, its a short game after all.

I enjoyed this, how about you? 39 nana-sama!! ^3^
